Jim Schoolfield, of Precision Consulting Incorporated, is a commercial construction consultant with more than thirty years of experience in commercial development and general contracting.

The Maryland Jockey Club/Laurel, Maryland

Renovation of the facility that hosts the Preakness (the second star in the “Triple Crown” of horse racing).

     

Discovery Channel Technology Building/East-West Highway & Kennett Street

Construction management of exterior renovation and interior improvements.

      

10700 World Trade Park/ RDU International Airport & Research Triangle Park/ Raleigh, North Carolina

           Land brokerage, development, and construction management of a 135,000 square foot flex facility.

      

         District of Columbia/ North Capitol Street/Washington, D.C.

              Tenant representative for the construction of 500,000 square feet of office space. 

              Construction  administration and contract coordination of this tenant relocation project.

 

        Central Armature Works, Inc./1200 Third Street N.E./Washington, D.C.

              Contract renegotiation of a partially finished, financially distressed

              building.  Construction management for the completion of the project.

   

        Gateway Building “A”/Route 197/Westminister, Maryland

              Investigation of existing plans and specifications for a “flex space” building, leading to 

              construction of the exterior shell and of the 

              interior improvements.

 

        Shockoe Plaza/Shockoe Slip/Richmond, Virginia

Construction administration for a new office building supported by an existing parking deck.  Our work included contract negotiation and design revisions   based  on value engineering, permit processing, base building and tenant improvement construction management.
